Gifts

A few people have already asked us where we might have registered for wedding gifts. The answer is... nowhere!

We have a very short gift registry.

1. Your presence. Nothing would make us happier than having you be a part of our wedding day.

2. A poem A friend of ours has a tradition of asking everyone to bring a poem as a gift to her birthday celebrations. A limerick, a haiku, a few rhyming couplets -- any kind of poem will do. Meredith even rebelled one year as she is in finance and claims to have no poetic skill. Instead she made her friend a birthday spreadsheet, which calculated the birthday girl's true age... this also counts as a form of poetry in our world.

and most importantly,

3. Your continued friendship and support -- Whether you are able to attend or not, we would feel greatly gifted with your thoughts and best wishes.

what about the winning recipes from meredith's ironchef birthday? does that count as a poetic gift? or how about the recipe for your wedding cake? or how about if we dance the funky chicken for you in a kilt to a beat box haiku? hmm, the possibilities may be endless...
